Sex Workers Leading Change in Zimbabwe
Adult Glam Divas Co-operative Trust (AGD) is a sex worker-led organisation based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. We work to advance the rights, health, safety, dignity, and economic resilience of sex workers through peer-led support, community organising, advocacy, skills development, and strategic partnerships.
We believe that sex workers are not passive beneficiaries of programmes. We are leaders, organisers, advocates, workers, parents, caregivers, and experts in our own lives and communities.

Who we are ?
Community-led. Rights-based. Rooted in lived experience.
AGD was founded by and for sex workers who understood the urgent need for safe spaces, solidarity, practical support, and collective action.
Our work responds to the realities faced by many sex workers, including stigma, discrimination, violence, economic exclusion, limited access to respectful healthcare, and barriers to justice. Through peer leadership, community outreach, advocacy, and partnerships, we support sex workers to claim their rights, strengthen their wellbeing, and build more secure futures.

What we do
Rights and Advocacy
We promote the human rights, dignity, safety, and inclusion of sex workers through rights education, community dialogue, evidence-based advocacy, and engagement with decision-makers.Health and Wellbeing
We provide peer-led health information, psychosocial support, treatment literacy, and referral support to help community members access respectful health and social services.Economic Empowerment
We support skills development, livelihood pathways, financial resilience, and opportunities for community members to strengthen their economic independence.Community Leadership
We build the capacity of peer educators, outreach workers, mobilisers, and advocates so that sex workers can lead solutions in their own communities.
Why our work matters
No one should be denied dignity because of who they are or the work they do.
Sex workers continue to face serious barriers to safety, healthcare, justice, economic opportunity, and social inclusion. These barriers can be made worse by stigma, violence, discrimination, poverty, criminalisation, gender inequality, and exclusion from mainstream services.
AGD works to ensure that sex workers are heard, respected, and included in decisions that affect their lives. We work toward a future where every person can access services, live free from violence, and participate fully in society without fear or sham
